Park View - Luxury Self Catering at Sewerby
Park View is set in the beautiful and tranquil village of Sewerby, only 5 minutes outside of the ever so popular seaside town of Bridlington.
To the East of Park View is Sewerby Hall and Gardens and slightly further afield is the Links Golf Club and Flamborough Head.
Flamborough Head is famous (especially to Americans) for the 'Battle of Flamborough Head' - fought on the 23 September 1779 between the Royal Navy and the American Continental Navy commanded by John Paul Jones (who was Scottish and the ships were actually French) during the American War of Independance.
Sewerby is also surrounded by an endearing coast line, most notably the award winning sandy beaches of Bridlington and the white chalk cliffs of Bempton, which host hundreds of thousands of gannets, Puffins, Guillemots, Razorbills, Fulmars, Kittiwakes, Herring Gulls and Shags.
Further afield is the historic city of York with it's quaint cobbled streets, Scarborough with it's old English charm and Whitby with it's famous Fish Restaurants and Abbey.
Getting to Sewerby is easy. From South Yorkshire and beyond you take the A614 from Howden (approx 40 miles). Or from West Yorkshire you take the A64 to York and then the A166 through Stamford Bridge to Bridlington
Once in Bridlington Sewerby is well sign posted.
If you do not have a car, you can make use of the excellent public transport links, as the bus stop is literally 'over the road'.
